Nigel McBeth Turner is a British-born Dutch paediatric cardiac anaesthesiologist from Utrecht and Amsterdam. He  holds a master’s degree and PhD in medical education and is passionate about training in paediatric emergency medicine. As well as being a member of the Scientific Committee of the Dutch Resuscitation Council and of the Paediatric Scientific and Education Committee of the ERC, he is medical director of the Dutch Foundation for the Emergency Medical Care of Children – a national non-profit organization dedicated to quality improvement in paediatric emergency medicine primarily through targeted training of professionals.
